Sachapite Stone Forest

It is located at about 20 km from Huancavelica; this site is a nature mystery. There are strange geologic formations, result of hundreds years of erosion with winds and rains, stand in the middle of an undulating plain. Monoliths of volcanic stones seem to be erected and take quite capricious shapes. A disturbing spectacle.
